You’ll leave Naples on board of a minivan and, after going through some small villages at the bottom of the Vesuvius, you’ll reach Sorrento in an hour.
The walking tour starts in Piazza Tasso and will lead you up and down the hills up to “Sedil Dominova”, a IV century loggia. You’ll visit the Cathedral and Church of San Francesco, with its evocative cloister and garden that offers a wonderful view on the Marina Grande harbor. Like in a kaleidoscope, you’ll cross images and memories that have enchanted poets, novelists, musicians, painters, writers, historians and even photographers and filmmakers.
After filling your sight with pleasure, you will democratically think about your palate. You are invited for lunch to a special restaurant where you’ll taste the authentic cuisine of Sorrento. After your coffee, you must try the famous limoncello, an alcoholic digestive made from lemon rinds, alcohol, water and sugar.
