CAMPANIA, A BEAUTY TO BE SAVOURED

Campania, the most visited region in southern Italy, is an ancient land where sensitivity to beauty has developed over the centuries. Nature, art and culture live in perfect harmony and, at the same time, provoke disorienting contrasts.  The landscape is made of a succession of outstanding yet different sceneries that fade one into the other composing a painting where the brushes are senses and history.  From the impetuous vitality of Naples to the lemon-scented beauty of the Amalfi coast, from the gulf embracing the sea to the Vesuvius that still looms over Pompeii and Herculaneum, immobile from 2000 years.  Then there’s Capri: the most elegant pearl in the Mediterranean, with its jet sets and offering glimpses of paradise.  Campania is synonym of cliffs, enchanted towns, unforgettable views, wooded mountains and frequented since mythological times coasts.  And naturally of its cuisine: pasta, pizza, coffee, pastries and wine. Here, at the table, you’ll be served the best of made in Italy.  Bon appétit and have a nice trip.

NAPLES, A WORLD TO DISCOVER

Naples is one of the biggest and most enchanting cities in the Mediterranean. There is nature. It opens in the shape of an amphitheater over the beautiful gulf from the Sorrento peninsula to the imposing Vesuvius. There is art. Its historical center was declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It conserves archaeological treasures among the most impressive in the world and a series of superb palaces, castles and churches competing with the ones in Rome.  There is amazing food. Blessed with rich soils of volcanic origin, a generous sea, and centuries of culinary culture, Naples is a real epicurean pleasure shaped as a city. A city which serves “the best" pizza, “the best” pasta and “the best” coffee, along with fish dishes, street food and incomparable desserts.  Then, of course, there are the Neapolitans. Creative people with an unexpected elegance, deep humanity and a unique talent for spontaneous conversations.  A popular saying reads: “Once you've seen Naples you can die happy”.  Visiting this city is definitely the first step, the priority, but also returning here to better explore its anarchic beauty is necessary.

Magnificent and popular, monumental and introverted: thousands are the faces and colours of Naples.  Discover them through the rite of the “struscio”: a slow contemplative walk along the main streets of the city, accompanied by a pleasurable chat about facts and curiosities that are to be found at every step.

In a city that lays next to a quiescent volcano, the sense of miracle is a daily experience. A popular and much felt belief is experienced inside churches at every religious feast. Neapolitans take very seriously activities such as propitiating luck and keeping the so called iella (bad luck) away. A popular “motto” reads: “It’s not true, but I believe...

An arterial road crosses Naples from east to west and from the past to the present.  Everything passed through here and continues to do so.  History and tradition. Poverty and nobility. Art and beauty.Spaccanapoli is a tale that can be read on foot, during a beautiful walk.

Faithful to its name, Naples (Nea polis) is always asked to reinvent itself as a new city.  An ancient past and an ambitious vision of the future are the two extreme ends along which this tour unfolds, designed to really push you under the surface, attracted by a deep charm.

In Pompeii only a few steps separate ancient and modern life.  An entire city, which has remained immobile and intact for 2000 years, as if the inhabitants had just left. A great emotion takes place here: a sense of deep understanding of human fragility.

Undisputed icon of the Neapolitan imaginary, the Vesuvius offers much more than postcard panoramas. It’s a natural monument that vibrates with energy. A land made unique by its colours and perfumes. A sleeping giant that you’ll be able to stroke closely.

A town that seems protected by a set designer. Limestone hills, studded by olive and orange groves. Terraces that frame the view of the sea, the Vesuvius, Naples and Capri.  Sorrento is a window overlooking beauty. A feast for the sight, that has the scent of lemons, and that reserves surprises for every sense.

The scenic beauty of Sorrento is the perfect set for an epicurean journey at the discovery of its gustatory panorama. A compelling history in which appetizing dishes dialogue with aromatic wines and liquors that play with the scent of lemon.

With its 1200 rooms, 1790 windows, 34 staircases and a 250 meter long facade, the Bourbon Palace of Caserta is the biggest building of the 18th century. Numbers alone are not sufficient to describe its baroque beauty and the fairy-tale like astonishment that it arouses. Imagine being king for one day.  Well, you are in the right place to do so.

A winding itinerary that caresses the most famous towns of the Amalfi Coast. You'll have plenty of things to do in the Amalfi Coast. You'll be able to feast your eyes on unique Ceramic Art from the Campana region and tickle your tastebuds with fragrant Mediterranean dishes, lauded for its masterful desserts and swoon over beautiful landscapes that have...

Sailing around Capri is an invitation to cataloguing the different shades of blue.  Infinite like the beauties that you can admire only from the sea.  Cliffs, inaccessible streets, games of light and reflections that pierce water like a surrealist painting.  Like in the famous song “Volare” by Domenico Modugno.
