A few kilometres from Rome stands the majestic Odescalchi Castle, one of the most beautiful and imposing Renaissance dwellings in Europe.
You will cross six centuries of history by walking along the castle’s golden corridors, its courtyards, and precious collections: from busts of the twelve Caesars, to gothic and science halls, and ancient kitchens. Prepare yourself thereafter for a completely different perspective. You will next find yourselves in climbing gear ready to scale the summits of the castle. In all safety you will be hoisted by rope to the castle’s walkways. The view is breathtaking and is worth the effort: you’ll be able to see the town of Bracciano, the Mounts of Tolfa, the Soratte, Terminillo, and the Mounts of Lucretili, as well as a catching a glimpse of the lake that will take your breath away. From here you will assume the role of an explorer: using ropes you will be lowered into the main cistern of the castle, and exit it via a secret passage! All of this under the watchful eye of your professional guide.
